Treatment process

  • Triage – assessment of the urgency of the health condition using the Manchester Triage System performed by a doctor or nurse. Acute and life-threatening conditions take priority. Patients brought in by emergency medical services are also subject to the triage system.
  • Collection of biological material, ECG recording, measurement of vital signs
  • Diagnostic examinations (X-ray, USG, CT)
  • Treatment and care according to medical priority and the decision of the physician on duty
  • Hospitalization or discharge to outpatient care depending on the examination results

Notice to Patients

In the emergency department, we triage patients according to the urgency of their health condition using the Manchester Triage System.
Priority is always given to acute and life-threatening conditions, as well as patients brought in by emergency medical services.

We ask for your understanding that due to high patient volumes and capacity limitations, waiting times for treatment of less serious conditions may be longer. Our medical staff are doing everything possible to ensure you are treated as soon as possible, but the emergency department is under heavy demand and operates continuously.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
