The Infectious Diseases Clinic of Nitra University Hospital is the only inpatient facility in the Nitra Region providing infectious disease care to hospitalized patients from the districts of Nitra, Zlaté Moravce, Šaľa, Topoľčany, Levice, Nové Zámky, and Komárno, serving over 700,000 inhabitants. It also provides professional support for the practical training of students from FSVaZ at UKF in Nitra and for mandatory rotations for doctors during pre-certification training.
Instructions for Visitors:
- Bedside visits are permitted only by prior arrangement with the attending physician or clinic management.
- Other visits (for ambulatory patients) take place in the entrance hall of the respective clinic sections.
- The visitor entrance is located on the side of the building (the same entrance as for the pneumology outpatient clinic). Personal belongings for patients can also be handed over here – on individual floors (0th, 1st, 2nd, ICU).
