Fakultná nemocnica Nitra is pleased to announce that, as of April 15, 2026, a project to renovate the premises at the Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic has commenced. Our goal is to create an environment for young patients that meets the latest standards and provides them with the necessary comfort and sense of security during treatment.
What Does the Renovation Entail?
In the first phase, we focused on the complete transformation of the first two patient rooms. These will undergo extensive renovation, which includes:
- Modernization of bathrooms and sanitary facilities,
- replacement of furniture and interior equipment,
- aesthetic improvements to the spaces to create a more pleasant and less stressful impression.
A Hospital Room as a Safe Haven
Hospitalization is a challenging time for both the child and their parents. We believe that a hospital room must be more than just a functional space – it should be a place that offers privacy, peace, and visual stimuli reminiscent of home. A modern and aesthetically pleasing environment demonstrably contributes to the better psychological well-being of patients, which is a key factor in the healing process.
