Ophthalmology Clinic IV. – Microsurgical Clinic

1. Examination and scheduling of patients for surgical procedures (cataracts, pterygium, plastic eyelid surgery for conditions such as dermatochalasis, entropion, ectropion, eyelid and conjunctival tumors with/without histological examination).
2. Examination of acute patients with eye injuries, including all penetrating and perforating injuries, providing primary surgical treatment and patient hospitalization.
3. Consultations for patients referred by a community ophthalmologist.

Specialized examinations:

Endothelial microscopy

Biometric eye examination: calculation of intraocular lens optical power

Sonographic examination of the anterior and posterior segments (A-scan, B-scan)

We implant intraocular lenses: monofocal, toric, and extended depth of focus lenses.

Acute cases are accepted following a telephone consultation between the referring physician and the attending physician!
