Where can you find them?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>There are major differences between the emergency medical service, the emergency department, and the outpatient on-call service, even though all of these help in cases of worsening health and life-saving situations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Outpatient on-call service (APS), or on-call service<\/strong> at the polyclinic<\/h2>\n<p>The so-called <strong>medical on-call service<\/strong>, formerly known as the Medical First Aid Service (LSPP), is available to patients outside general practitioners&#8217; office hours, as well as during weekends and public holidays. It is provided separately for children and adolescents and for adults.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>How does the on-call service work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is outpatient care that patients can use, <strong>for example, for fevers, pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, minor wounds, or other conditions that are not directly life-threatening.<\/strong> It is available in almost all larger towns across Slovakia, in polyclinics, hospitals, or general practitioners&#8217; surgeries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Where is the ON-CALL SERVICE located?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The on-call outpatient service for both adults and children is located <strong> at \u0160pit\u00e1lska Street 13 in Nitra (polyclinic building).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>POLYCLINIC Building, \u0160pit\u00e1lska 13, NITRA<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-30351\" src=\"https:\/\/fnnitra.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/POHOTOVOST_DSC_0001-1024x683-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"804\" height=\"536\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>The doctor on duty at the outpatient on-call service for adults sees patients from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and on weekends from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The doctor on duty at the outpatient on-call service for children and adolescents sees patients from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on weekends from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The schedule of doctors on duty by day can be found on the website e-vuc.sk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fee: 2 euros<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This service is subject to a fee, and the patient pays 2 euros directly at the clinic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are major differences between the emergency medical service, the emergency department, and the outpatient on-call service, even though all of these help in cases of worsening health and life-saving situations.
